Clinic closed

Sandyford Renfrewshire (Paisley) clinic is closed on Friday 24 May 2019. Find alternative clinics here or call us on 0141 211 8130. We apologise for any inconvenience.

May Public Holidays

Sandyford clinics are closed on Monday 27 May 2019.                        

Archway (a specialist service for recent sexual assault / rape) is open over the holiday weekend.  To  contact Archway call first on 0141 211 8175.

Emergency contraception is available from some pharmacies.  Find your nearest pharmacy on NHS 24 or call NHS Inform on 0800 22 44 88, 8am to 10pm, 7 days per week.

When Sandyford is closed you can access PEP at your local Accident & Emergency service.  


Local Service Information 

As a result of staff shortages the following local Sandyford services have changed opening times.

  • Sandyford West Dunbartonshire (Vale of Leven) is open on Wednesdays only.
  • Sandyford East Renfrewshire (Barrhead) is open on Mondays only.
  • Sandyford North (Springburn) is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

As a result of staff shortages the following local Sandyford services are closed.

  • Sandyford Castlemilk
  • Sandyford Drumchapel
  • Sandyford South West (Pollok)
  • Sandyford East Dunbartonshire (Kirkintilloch)

We apologise if you have any difficulties when calling Sandyford on our main telephone line 0141 211 8130. The line is open Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am - 4.15pm, except public holidays. Although our phone lines are busiest in the morning we work through our calls as quickly as we can. If you can’t get through when you first call, then please try again later.  

Sorry it's not possible to book appointments by email at present although we are working towards this.

Extended drop in - Sandyford East Young People's service

Opening hours for the Young People's drop in service at Sandyford East Hub (Parkhead) are now extended from 3.30pm until 7pm on Mondays and ThursdaysPlease note there is no change to the drop in service on Fridays at Sandyford East, when opening times are still 3.30pm until 4.30pm.
