Phoneline delays - 17th September 2025

Due to staff shortages, phone wait times may be longer today. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Where possible we are asking that you book the following appointments online:

  • PrEP
  • Implants
  • Coils
  • STI testing (no symptoms)

If no appointments are available, we’re fully booked. Please don’t call - we can’t offer extra appointments. New ones are released weekly.

Continue to call us if you are:

  • Running late
  • Want to cancel an appointment you didn't book online
  • Showing symptoms of an STI
  • Think you have been exposed to HIV
  • Seeking support for unintended pregnancy
  • Unable to access online booking

For general enquiries, our website or NHS Inform should be able to help.

- You can either self-referral to the service by contacting us directly, or we also accept referrals from other health professionals within Sandyford.

Please note:

- This service is for over 18's only

- There may be a short waiting time for appointments.

- We can only provide support for those who meet our service criteria - more info on this can be found on our main counselling service page, here.

The need to respect client confidentiality is a core principle of  Sandyford Counselling and Support Services. There are exceptions to this confidentiality, for example if you are at risk, but this will be explained in more detail at your first meeting with the support worker.
