Sandyford Switchboard - Closed for Training - 07/07/2025

Due to a training event, Sandyford's main switchboard will close at 14:45pm on Monday 07/07/2025. Phone lines will reopen as normal on Tuesday 08/07/2025 at 08:45am. 

If you need access to emergency contraception or PEP please contact out of hours services or visit your local Accident and Emergency location.

Menopause

We support women who experience menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, sweats, mood changes, headaches and joint aches.

Menopause is a natural part of life. However, it can come with its challenges, and can sometimes be a difficult or confusing experience. 

There are many common misconceptions about menopause. Equipping yourself with the facts is the best way to prepare yourself for menopause, and helps you know exactly what support is out there.

Referral Information

Should you wish to start HRT, please discuss with your GP or practice nurse. If they feel you have complex needs/medical conditions and require input from a specialist menopause clinic, they can refer you to Sandyford. We don't accept self-referrals to the service.
