3/3/25 - Urgent temporary changes to appointment making process, please read

Due to staffing constraints, new appointments for the following services can only be booked online for the remainder of this week:

  • PrEP
  • Contraceptive Implants
  • Contraceptive Coils
  • STI No Symptoms
  • Young People Clinic

If our booking portal is showing no appointments available in your area then unfortunately our appointments are fully booked. Please do not call us as we do not have access to any additional appointments. If this is the case, please check for appointments becoming available later in the week.

Our switchboard remains open only for those with symptoms or those seeking support for unintended pregnancy.

We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Appointments booked online can also be cancelled and amended via the same booking portal.

Menopause

We support women who experience menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, sweats, mood changes, headaches and joint aches.

Menopause is a natural part of life. However, it can come with its challenges, and can sometimes be a difficult or confusing experience.

There are many common misconceptions about menopause. Equipping yourself with the facts is the best way to prepare yourself for menopause, and helps you know exactly what support is out there.

Please take a look at the resources below for more information.

Referral Information

Should you wish to start HRT, please discuss with your GP or practice nurse. If they feel you have complex needs/medical conditions and require input from a specialist menopause clinic, they can refer you to Sandyford. We don't accept self-referrals to the service.

Menopause & Mental Health: Give your views

The Marie Project is researching the mental health impact of the menopause. Help by taking part in the digital study.
