Anogenital warts

What we offer- we are now offering a limited service for the assessment and treatment of genital warts.

When- all first appointments are based at Sandyford Central. Repeat appointments for treatment, if required, can be arranged at Sandyford Central or Parkhead if this is more suitable.

As is the case across NHSGGC our services are currently facing significant challenges and these have affected our  service at Sandyford.  We apologise for any inconvenience and distress this may cause.

There is a current wait of at least 6 months to be seen in this service.

How- Please call 0141 211 8130 and explain that you would like assessment and treatment for genital warts, we will then add you to the waiting list to be seen and contacted when an appointment becomes available.

What patients can do - genital warts are a common sexually transmitted infection caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). The virus is spread by skin to skin contact, so using condoms is advised to avoid passing them on.

If you would like to be screened for other sexually transmitted infections whilst awaiting your appointment, you can book a sexual health screen online
